Offline Matters.
Nothing great ever happened in front of a screen.
That's why I spend some of my time skiing in the Alps, sailing in Greece, surfing, playing tennis – or with a camera in hand. Travel has always played a big part in my life, not for ticking off places, but for getting new perspectives. Street photography is one of them – started analog with a Nikon F3 more than three decades ago, now mostly shooting digital with a Leica M11.
Start-ups, marketing, and entrepreneurship are still core parts of how I think. Even outside the job, I follow ideas, not industries.
I've always been engaged with tech – not just from a management angle, but often hands-on. Still, something has shifted. With the rise of AI, I've started to code again, despite having officially retired from programming back in 1999. This time, it's different – and it's a space I'll continue to focus on in the years ahead.
